This two-year project seeks to address systematic sexual and reproductive health and rights violations, especially against women and LGBTI communities, including non-binary people, fueled by barriers embedded in laws, policies, the economy, and in social norms and values—especially gender inequality— persistent across southern and east Africa. The project is co-implemented with Athena Network in five countries namely Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, and Namibia with funding from the African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF).
